Celebrate Spring!
When we can find fresh tender green veggies and spring fruits in our markets
When we finally see, smell and taste the first plants that literally spring from the soil, it's time to celebrate. I certainly do. You can find me at the markets checking with my farmers weekly beginning in late March,, to see when and what they will be bringing in.
The first things that appear will be nettles, ramps, asparagus and rhubarb. These menus are designed to take advantage of them and, to showcase their wonderful flavors.
